Luiz Almeida Marins Filho (Sept. 21st, 1949)
- Anthropologist: Ph.D. in Anthropology from Macquarie University in Australia, under the orientation of the renowned Dr. Chandra Jayawardena (Sri Lanka). Also studied Anthropology at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) under the orientation of Dr. Thekla Hartamann;
- Bachelor's degree in History (College of Philosophy, Science, and Linguistics of Sorocaba - Brazil) and Law (Sorocaba College of Law - Sorocaba, Brazil);
- Studied Political Science (University of Brasilia - UnB), Negotiation (New York University - USA), Stategic Planning and Marketing (Wharton School, PA, USA), Anthropology and Macroeconomics (London School of Economics in New South Wales).
- Professor at the Federal University of Sao Carlos (UFSCar, Brazil) from 1972 to 1982. First Professor to implement and teach Human Ecology studies in Brazil, called Ecological Studies in Anthropology, in 1974-1975;
- Professor at the Sao Paulo College of Technology (FATEC-SP, Brazil) from 1974 to 1977. Professor at the Sorocaba College of Engineering (FACENS, Brazil) from 1977-1983. Professor at the University of Sorocaba (Uniso, Brazil) from 1998-2000 and guest Professor and lecturer in several post-graduation courses in Brazil and internationally;
- Chief of Educational Technology and Coordinator of Amazon-related issues at the National Center of Personell Formation for Professional Education (CENAFOR, Brazil), on a partnership between the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the United Nations, and other Brazilian government authorities - project BRA/72, from 1974 to 1976;
- Secretary of Health and Education in the city of Sorocaba, state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 1977 to 1981, and Secretary of Coordination and Urban Planning in Sorocaba from 1981 to 1983. Implemented the first public program of Environmental Education in Brazil, which received positive critiques from the World Wildlife Federation, and still exists today. Also, assisted in the foudation of the Brazilian Society of Zoologists (SZB), which had its first headquarters in Sorocaba, Brazil.
- President of the companies Consortium System in New York City, and Triangle Freightliner of Raleigh, NC, USA from 1989-1995, and member of the Global Transport Traders' directors council, PA, USA, from 1990 to 1995.

- Shareholder and President of several Brazilian companies, such as Anthropos Consulting, Anthropos Motivation & Success, The Horse University, and the Chaparral Farm;
